It’s an exciting week to see kids (of all ages), wearing costumes, sharing their creative imaginations, carving pumpkins, fall festivals, parties, haunted houses, decorations, or doing trick-or-treating with families! I’m sending out the November newsletter a few days early, since the 1st is this Friday, & there’s an art show on that evening (you might even see me in costume that night). I’d love to see you all join me at the future art events, find the perfect piece of art, and enjoy the festivities together.

Last month’s Art ‘Xtravaganza was an amazing one, full of so many great artists, performers, musicians, and volunteers to help make it happen. I’m so thankful that I was able to be a part of it, and with my friend Kevin Forrester Coleman, as a duo art installation. Our room was glowing and so magical, that everyone was in awe! Hopefully, we can do this again next year as a part of Allied Arts of Whatcom County.

Wait, there’s more! In this newsletter, you’ll see that there’s some exciting art events happening  in November – art classes, art events, free kids art, and several art shows! Read more below, and remember that you can see more art examples by following on both Facebook/Instagram: Rachel’s Whimsical Arts.

Studio Art Show this Friday, November 1st!

You’re invited to the next Bellingham Downtown Art Walk this Friday, November 1st, between 6-9pm. You will see my Marine-life Art that glows under uv-light, along with many things for sale like prints, cards, stickers, jewelry, kids crowns, and more! Don’t be surprised if  you see me in costume this evening, since it’s the fall season, and I’m doing costume things all week. Costumed guests who arrive and share your ideas with me, will also get a bonus ART STICKER of mine that I’ll give as a thank you. You’ll also get to see the other studio artists, Anne Mullunniex and Alan Krum.

We’re on the Bellingham Downtown Art Walk map, & are located at the Imagine It Now studio, 301 W Holly Street, D-5 (downstairs), Bellingham, WA 98225. Also, we are open Monday-Friday 1-6pm for guests (weekends by appointment), and always open for the monthly Bellingham Downtown Art Walk.

All are welcome to visit me at the Blessing Salon Spa on November 22nd for the next Fairhaven Art Walk, located at 1112  11th Street STE 201, Bellingham, WA, between 5:00pm – 8:00pm. This will be another showing of  my art in the old Fairhaven district of Bellingham, and at a business that supports local artists, that’s a part of the Fairhaven Art Walk. Let’s have some great conversation, snacks, and enjoy the old district with some art! If you can’t make it, then you can contact me directly, or come join me at the next December 6th Downtown Art Walk, just in time for the holidays to see all the art I’ll have for sale for gifts, cards, prints, stickers, jewelry, magical kids crowns, and more…

Art Education & More!

In addition, I teach art education K-12 at a few different elementary schools, for after school enrichment in Whatcom County, and the Bellingham School District as an independent contractor, as well as do fun summer art camps, private art lessons, parties/events, private lessons, present and teach at museums/galleries, and a Teaching Artist/Board Member with Allied Arts of Whatcom County.
