I'm pretty lucky to have such an amazing support network with loved ones who cheer me on. You know the times when we all face challenges like forgetting your morning coffee at home after a poor nights sleep and you're already on your way to work? When you feel a horrible migraine all day, and all you need is a hug, or you find out that someone you know passed away? There is a dissapointing news that your class had to be cancelled or you didn't get chosen for a position & you get a serious pep talk to learn how awesome you really are? Yup, that's what I'm talking about. Every single one of us has experienced hard days in life, and the only thing that can keep you going is having someone there for you. I have several amazing people in my life who help lift my spirits - and I don't mean with drinks. These are the moments that choke me up with a smile, and remind me how lucky I am.
So, with changes come challenges. There are several ahead of me, but they are all going to be great ones. I've got a few sticks in the fire that I'm using to spark ideas and areas of growth in my art and teaching.
