In this letter, I'm sharing with you the great news of some upcoming art classes for this fall. I also want to invite you to an art exhibit called Honey’s Hunnys, and they have an opening night on this coming Friday Artwalk, on September 2nd at The Honey Salon in Bellingham, WA. I will have two paintings up on display and for sale at the show: The Galactic Mermaid, and The Blue Nebula.

Recycling Old Books into Art class, as a one-day-workshop on September 16th, from 6:30pm – 9:00pm, at The Foundry Makerspace.

You will want to pre-register with The Foundry to save yourself a space. This class is for ages from teens up to adults (all supplies are provided). I’ll show you how to use mixed-media in a wide variety to transform your book into a piece of art, a sketchbook, a journal, or a scrapbook of your choice!

Since it is autumn, this means that school has begun for our kids. I’m teaching all kinds of kid’s art classes with BAAY EduArts for after school arts programs in many elementary schools: Silver Beach, Carl Cozier, Wade King, and Lowell. If you have a student in one of them, please do get them enrolled via your school or with BAAY, (Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth)! We have classes for both age ranges of K-2, and 3-5 grades. Please feel free to give us a call at BAAY to find out more information.
If you’re an adult, and want to take a creative art class, then I have just the thing for you! I’ll be teaching both a ceramics class and a mixed-media painting class in October and November with Whatcom Community College Community Ed, (WCC). The Mixed-Media Meets Steampunk class is on October 1st and 8th, 10:00am – 1:00pm, and the Make Your Own Mugs class is on November 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm at WCC. Register through WCC’s Community Ed program. Register with WCC:
